SUMMER RIDING CAMPS 2012
The Shirley Burr Equestrian Centre at QMS offers day equestrian camps for all levels of riders. Lessons are taught by certified coaches with safe school horses in our picturesque equestrian facility. All riders are welcomed and accommodated, from the tentative first time rider to the established rider looking to further advance their skills. Our well maintained, friendly school horses are suitable for all sizes and levels of riders.
Coaches plan fun activities on and off the horse to develop athleticism as well as challenge physical and mental boundaries. There will be a demonstration of skills and a certificate presentation on the final day of camp.

SUMMER VETCAMP 2012
This one-of-a-kind camp for girls and boys ages 11 to 15 will answer the question “What if someday I want to be a Vet or work with animals?”
We’ll explore animal anatomy, body systems, treatments and medications, bandaging and nutrition. We’ll visit the Pacific Raptors Centre and bring in special guests to talk about real-life animal emergencies.
Each day will include some instructional time; practical hands-on labs, experiments and treatments; and fun activities and games.
Most importantly, you will have fun and complete this camp with a clearer understanding of what it takes to be a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or Vet Technician.
