Residences Our two residences are named after the founders of Queen Margaret’s School, Miss Denny and Miss Geoghegan. Denny Hall and Geoghegan Hall are located at opposite ends of the same building. Within this building we have two apartments style accommodation specifically for six sharing Grade 12 students who show maturity, responsible behavior and high academic achievement. The Director of Residence decides who live in these apartments. All other accommodations are double or single rooms. Single rooms usually are given to the higher grade level students (Grades 11 - 12) first, while the younger grade students (Grades 6 - 10) share the double rooms.
Signing out is mandatory for every activity that takes place outside of the Residence, including such activities as going to the Equestrian stables or the exercise room in the gym.
Laundry is a free service provided to boarding students for clothing, bedding and towels. Boarders are responsible for taking their laundry bag to the laundry room on designated days and it will be placed, clean and folded in their assigned laundry locker.
