Acceptance into Senior School grades is considered on the basis of the student's academic record, an interview, skills assessment and the attitude of the student.

Admission to the Junior School into Grades 1-7 is based on the student's academic record, an interview, skills assessment, student attitude and space availability.

An offer of placement into the QMS Kindergarten Program is based on a completed application, an interview, and an official assessment completed by a school official. Annual assessments for internal and external candidates traditionally take place in early January and admission after this time is offered on a space availability basis.

Parents interested in the QMS Early Childhood Education (ECE) Program for three and four year-olds (Preschool and Junior Kindergarten), are encouraged to apply as early in the year as possible. These programs usually fill well in advance of their September start dates and students are offered placement based on a completed application and an interview. Contact Admissions if you have any questions about applying.

Equestrian students are expected to qualify for admission to both the QMS academic program and the Equestrian Program.

International students are expected to qualify for admission to the QMS academic program. If English is not the student's first language, the following English language programs are available:

ESL Program Grades 7 - 10

Admission requires acceptance to the QMS academic program. The blended program provides specialized ESL instruction in small classes where students develop their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Immersion classes include mathematics, sciences, fine arts, athletics and applied skills.
